Job Overview
We are seeking a Behavioral Health Intake Specialist to join our team at who will travel and act as a liaison between Moses Behavioral Care and Hospitals in Pinal and Maricopa Counties. This person will also provide assistance with all resident intakes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide face to face screening of all prospective residents prior to admission into the program
- Travel to various behavioral health agencies to present program offerings
- Maintain positive relationships with various inpatient facilities and case managers
- Gather documentation to determine a prospective members eligibility
- Seeks to develop new relationships with case managers from various outpatient clinics so they better understand the program scope.
- Identified as a point of contact for inquiries regarding member eligibility, vacancies, admission, and intake process.
- Ensure all documentation is completed and processed for timely admission
Skills / Requirements:
- A High School Diploma/GED and three years of relevant experience in a behavioral health setting; OR
- An Associate’s degree and two years of relevant experience in a behavioral health setting; OR
- A bachelor’s degree in the behavioral health field; OR
- A non-behavioral health field bachelor’s degree and one year of relevant experience in a behavioral health setting
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Background check.
- Minimum typing speed of 25 wpm.
- Some assignments require an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Current Arizona Driver License and a current satisfactory 39-month Motor Vehicle Record (MVR
